"Break Down, Rev Up, Gear Up " BUMC Youth are gearing up for new activities! Our Sunday Night Youth is all about meeting new friends with food and games. Sunday mornings let's study together and dig in to the "Word" and prepare ourselves for the upcoming week.
Weekly Activities
Break Down Sunday School: 9:45 am- 10:50 am. We all know those old, old stories we were taught as little kids well now we are taking an in-depth look at those stories and the significance behind each one. As we dive into our souls we Break Down what we know to form a better image of whom our God is and why it is important to listen to His words.
Gear Up Sunday Night Youth: 5:30 pm- 7:00 pm. Life can be very stressful at times with school, sports, and work this is why it is important to start the week off right by gearing up with God and His armor before we go to our schools and work. This is why every Sunday night students from around Blanco gather together for food, fun, fellowship, and to hear the Good News.
Rev Up!
Wednesday Night: 6:15 pm- 7:15 pm
Rev Up is a weekly Bible study intended to make youth increase their knowledge of the Bible. This is where the youth come to eat their solid food for the week as it states in Hebrews 5:14 so that they may grow and mature. Ask the Youth Director (posting coming soon) - gives you the students a chance to ask me, the youth director, appropriate questions concerning life, God, or the Bible, and it does not matter whether they are posts regarding struggles you are going through, lessons we have talked about, or things you have been pondering.
